Hi Everyone,

I know I dont post on here often..

Im still trying to hone my Paleo skills so I dont ever have much to say.

Ive been working with a personal trainer for almost two months now and he got me started on Paleo.. I feel like Ive been doing really well (especially considering we just got through the holidays!)

Anyways I have really cut my carbs down for the last few days and my trainer keeps referring to upping my fats... Hes suggested me doing so through coconut milk, avacado etc.. Problem is I`m not a huge fan of either..

Does anyone have any other suggestions.. Im really trying to lean out now and I want it to work!
Thanks in advance

Some people like to pan fry meat and fish in extra fat rather than grill. That might be an option if you don’t want to add the coconut milk or avocado. Or are you already using extra fat to cook? What about eggs and/or nuts? Then again you said you’re doing really well…are you sure you need to make any changes from what you’re already doing now?

I would consider more eggs and nuts, as Posy suggested. Find out if anyone local is growing some delicious almonds, walnuts, pecans, or something you enjoy eating! In my own experience, it pays to visit as many local farmers' markets as you can afford the time (and energy) to attend. There you will most likely get a better product, as compared with your local grocery stores, and you may even save yourself some money. Nuts and eggs are relatively expensive, but they are a phenomenal source of energy (both fat and protein)!
