Welcome Parsimony! I am not a founder of this forum, but I was personally invited to help get it going - so I might have a decent answer ;). I am extremely interested in becoming part of a Primal-centric community... So here I am. And here are my beliefs on Primalism:

I am sure that everyone has a different interpretation of the specifics of a primal lifestyle...However I think the basic tenets are pretty consistent:

1. Live Naturally
2. Live Well
3. Live Simplistically

In terms of specifics, a lot of people refer to a form of eating that models that of the cave people when they discuss a "primal" lifestyle. Thus, the cornerstone would be adhering to a diet that does not include anything developed post agricultural revolution... Maybe some others can fill parsimony in on more of the specifics.

I am a broad strokes kinda gal, not great with details :)

Hope this helped

Parsimony,

Great to have you as part of the tribe!

We are putting together a compilation of what it means to be primal, The Art of Primal Living. Check it out! Feel free to ask additional questions of need be, as well.

Chadwick, looking forward to reading The Art of Primal Living! Is this already posted somewhere, or is it still under development?
