For me, it depends:
In the morning: whole bean, grind it up, put some whole cream in it! Favorite roast: Kenya AA
At a coffee shop: basic roast, with some half/half
Casual drink at home: black, maybe some whole cream
At night: decaf, black
I usually have a couple cups a day--coffee is such drink! And vehicle for some nice saturated fats (be sure to get organic whole cream).

Dark, black, and strong enough to bench its own weight.
Morning only, except for the occasional dessert coffee at a dinner party.
Favorite roast: Rocket Java by Cascade Pride
At a coffee shop: double americano, so it's fresh
(Hmmm...should one capitalize Americano? Another of life's mysteries...)

Black... and right before a workout.
When I relax, I also take a bit of cream.
Cheers to the Americano... I also like those at a cafe.

I say capitalize Americano... Make it a Proud drink.
Anyway, I am looking for some new beans. Barbey, do you know where I can order some Cascade Pride coffee - do you know if I can get it online?
Thanks babe!

Haha! :)
Jbirch20...very cool!
I do partake at times so strong with a bit of honey and some times coconut milk.

Hmm, good question...I buy it locally at Winco Foods, but I think that's a western states grocery chain that you wouldn't have. I just did a quick google search and didn't find a website for them either. :( Too bad, because it's REALLY good if you like super-strong, super-dark coffee.
I could send you some, if you like! :)

Some days I have it black, and some days I take it with grass-fed heavy cream.

Okay, if any of you have seen my other posts, you know I'm a dairy junkie. So needless to say, I take my coffee with milk of some sort. Nine times out of ten, I just use plain ol' organic whole milk. I live in California and can actually buy raw milk at the store, but again I love dairy so I can't afford the "good stuff" too often.
astrogirl, where do you find the grass-fed heavy cream? Do you get it from local farmers or something?

I can buy grass-fed heavy cream at several local stores here in Vermont. It's from a fantastic farm called Butterworks Farm. My daughter is making whipped cream in the kitchen as I type!

Okay, I need to make it a priority this week to find me some grass-fed heavy cream. If anyone knows a reliable source in Southern California, please hit me up!
