View Full Version : Just Wondering...Primal Experiments

It seems that randomness is a crucial component of the primal way of life... Thus, a lot of people mix up they way they eat, train, live, etc quite often.
I was wondering if some people could share some of the stuff they do to "keep their body guessing" - ie, a lot of people intermittent fast, some people do nut fasts, I know some people who will just drink coffee and cream for a couple of days. The list could go one...
So, as accomplished primalistas - I was hoping some of you could share... I do not really have any set experiments I implement... yet, so I do not really have much to share.

Hey PK, thats a really good question. As you probably know there is a one month nut fast starting tomorrow over at MDA............I am excluding seeds as well, my body doesnt know the difference, ie no 'off switch', so time to give them a wide berth for a bit. It will be interesting to see what my mind wants to substitute them with. I am kind of doing a *******ization of the Eades cure for the middle age middle right now, so drinking whey protein with water a few times a day and eating one meal with fat meat and veggies. My body has liked the increase in protein so far, and it seems to have jacked my body temp up a bit, which is a problem for me right now. I like doing the whey protein thing, and its turning out to be a bit of a 'holiday plan' so as not to over eat, and have found I get full quicker as well. As for exercise, different yoga practices, as much as I can, starting fencing soon, going to new yoga studio that is a 15 min walk, so I need to move around a bit more than I am. And of course riding my bike. I want to get into track sprinting so I am trying to get my strength back up.
How about you?

How big is your meal? Sounds like it would be hard to get enough food!

Hey Katie, hows it going? Thanks, the big doses of aminos from the whey protein are so readily absorb-able that I am really benefitting from it. Think its going to be a while before I am happy with the dress though, but I have a bout six months, so once the holidays are over I can start being a little more focused.
