View Full Version : Greetings primal tribe!
You all seem like such a nice, laid back, happy go lucky bunch, Very Cool!:D
Another paleo person here, have been for years primarily for health reasons. I’m married but the only one in the house that eats this way. Hubby tired it a couple times but has a hard time of it. Supportive of me though so it‘s all good. I live in Idaho, I’m active-love weighted workouts, I’m 51 so I might be the granny of the bunch here lol! I try and keep food pretty simple so basically…don’t eat s**t food, feel good, ta-da! Looking forward to hearing about your primal food ways, plus thoughts and interests in anything!
Congrats to the chiefs of the tribe on the new forum and thanks for the invite pk. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Mmm turkey! *drools*

Welcome, Posy! You're not the only non-youngster here - I'm 42. Do you post over at MDA?

Posy, it is great to have you here, we are looking for a diverse crowd. Plus, age is just a number, especially when you live primally...

Welcome, Posy! I'm from Idaho, too -- farmland about 35 miles from Boise. How about you?
Annika…We’re still go‘n strong, no reason to let a number get in our way!:D MDA is marks daily apple right? No I don’t post there. Think I’ve just seen it once for a brief minute after following a link but I don’t really don’t know anything about it. Guess I don’t get out much lol!
PK…so true about age! I feel soooo fortunate to know how food choices directly effect how we feel because it’s scary how many don’t get that connection. Of course even understanding it, we can still be tempted by the bad stuff…I wonder if in a way, that’s a leftover instinct we have to make sure we take advantage of what food is available during lean times? Of course now a days times aren’t so lean and what’s available isn’t always so good for us!
Barbeygirl…Ooo I was just in the Boise/Emmett area the past couple days so very near you! We’re still not that far from each other though…I’m closer to the Twin area, smack dab in the middle of farm country here too! Maybe we can get together some day and throw a steak on the grill!:D

Hi everyone..
This is all new to me.. Been paleo for a week now so Im in a transitional period. First couple of days were a little rough but since then its been really good. Im enjoying it for sure. Just want to educate myself on how to maximize the "lifestyle" change in order to truly benefit from it which is why Ive joined these forums. Im 22.. Live in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada.

LC16!, welcome. Please feel free to ask any and all questions. We are an open minded community, and seem to all have similar goals.
Look forward to having you around!

Welcome Posy and LC16! Great to have you, especially during the holidays when the non-primal temptations are the highest.
Hi LC16! I’m sure you’re find all the info you’re looking for on the forums plus more you didn’t think you were looking for too! ;)

Glad to know I'm not the only mid-aged tribe member. At 40, I was thinking I might be too much above the norm for the forum.
Welcome, Posy and LC16!

Hi celtia…nah we’re never to old for anything! I don’t get into all the deep conversations on whether one study is right vs. another these days but I still like to visit and bounce ideas back and forth with others who share the same primal interests. Other than forums I don’t run in to others who eat the same way. Hmm, unless due to age I have and just forgot:confused:…ha just kidding, that’s one thing I would never forget!;)
