Hello all-- dwccrew08 here. Call me crazy, but I am going to go for a week-long fast! I want that Thanksgiving turkey and primal mashed potatoes to taste the best they have ever tasted. (So I do not get attacked--I know week long fasts are not great, but I only do them once or twice a year. Usually around now).

So I will check in here every day to let you know how everything is going.

I started yesterday (Thursday, November 19th at 12 noon). The last thing I had to eat were five eggs, cooked in butter with a side of several strips of bacon. I also had a cup of coffee with whole cream.

Since then I have drank plenty of water and tea. I will consider doing more coffee and cream if I feel that I am losing energy, but I feel great so far!

Workout wise, I have tried to keep it calm. I did a set of pushups and situps earlier, but that is it. I might throw in a set of sprints this weekend.

Also, if anybody wants to join me let me know! Would love to have the primal tribe on board. Strength in numbers.

You are crazy man, good luck. I may join you on the last couple of days.

What is your Thanksgiving meal going to look like? Going to eat a lot?

Otherwise, whao! This is an interesting experiment you have going. I will skip meals every now and again, but for a week? Much respect :).

Alright, have to admit I am a bit tired--but that was because I was out late last night! Feeling fine now as I type. Have kept up with no hard foods, but I worry about being dumb about the fast and not getting enough calories (and being tired and losing muscle mass) so I am going to have some coffee with coconut milk and cream in it.

Anything else I could have that is high calorie drink? Want to give the GI system a rest, so the more liquid the better!
